(ĐN)- Stable economic growth is leading to increased labour demand in Dong Nai in the last months of the year, according to the provincial Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs.
Accordingly, businesses in Dong Nai need to recruit over 30,000 workers for the rest of the year.
Many of them are needed for the companies to expand operations, said Huynh Ngoc Long, Director of Dong Nai Employment Service Center.
However, reports from the department also showed there was a labourer shortage and a number of labourers changed their job in the period.
More than 62,000 new jobs were created in the province in the first eight months of 2016. The DoLISA will continue efforts to connect job-seekers and enterprises aiming to reach its target of creating 90,000 jobs this year.
It will also concentrate on building short and long-term reports on labour market forecasts to inform labour and employment policies.
