(ĐN)- Since the beginning of this year, Dong Nai Children Sponsor Fund under Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs spent nearly VND3 billion to help 3,261 disadvantaged children across the province.
Particularly, the fund donated some VND2 billion to provide free surgeries to 17 kids with heart diseases and 17 children with cleft lip/palate, presented gifts for more than 1,400 poor children, gave scholarships and bicycles for over 260 kids, offered free medical check-ups and medicines to needy children.
