Mid-Autumn gifts given to disadvantaged students

On Sept 12, Dong Nai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in cooperation with the provincial Youth Union and Children House organized an art performance program named “ Full Moon Festival”.

At the event, the participants enjoyed music performance and lion dances.

On this occasion, the organizers presented nearly 2,000 gifts totaling some VND100 million to poor and disabled childrens.

Earlier, on Sept 11, the same event was also co-organized by the provincial Youth Union and Taekwang Vina to bring joy and present gifts to children of poor workers. The company also awarded 260 scholarships to its workers’ and disabled laborers’ children.

Meanwhile, Pousung Vina in Bau Xeo industrial park, Trang Bom district organized a music performance programme and spent more than VND100 million on Mid-Autumn gifts and scholarships for its workers’ children.

Long Thanh district’s AO/dioxin Victims Association coordinated with Dong Nai University of Technology presented 50 gifts worth VND200,000 each to AO/dioxin affected children.
