Gifts to Khmer people on Sene Dolta festival

(ĐN)- A delegation from Central Ethnic Minorities Committee, Dong Nai Ethnic Minorities Committee on Tuesday visited and presented gifts to Khmer people in Long Khanh town on the occasion of ethnic Khmer's Sene Dolta Festival.

 

(ĐN)- A delegation from Central Ethnic Minorities Committee, Dong Nai Ethnic Minorities Committee on Tuesday visited and presented gifts to Khmer people in Long Khanh town on the occasion of ethnic Khmer’s Sene Dolta Festival.

At Kiripupharam Pagoda in the town’s Phu Binh commune, the delegation extended greetings and presented 20 gifts worth VND500,000 each to local Khmer people, wishing them a happy festive season.

Sene Dolta is one of the three largest Khmer festivals, paying tribute to ancestors and those who have contributed to the homeland.

The community holds the festival every year from the 30th day of the eighth lunar month to the second day of the ninth lunar month. This year it falls from September 30th to October 2nd.
