(ĐN)- According to Dong Nai Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the province has shut down garbage treatment site in Bien Hoa city’s Trang Dai ward.
Accordingly, half of household garbage collected in Bien Hoa city will be recycled for producing fertilizers at Dong Xanh Environment JS Company, the rest will be brought to garbage treatment site in Vinh Cuu district’s Vinh Tan commune for burying.
So far, Dong Nai has been planning 8 waste treatment sites and 15 waste treatment projects has been deployed. However, due to the slow implementation of the projects, nearly 70 percent of household garbage collected is being buried under hygienic conditions.
