(ĐN)- Vietnam Social Insurance (VSI) on September 29 held an online ceremony nationwide to conclude the contest on initiatives to reform administrative procedure and electronic transactions in the social, health and unemployment insurance sectors.
Lasting from June 31 to October 30, 2015, the contest drew the participation of 58,694 entries which focused on 5 sectors of collecting fees, books-cards; social insurance policies; health insurance policies; unemployment insurance policies and technology application solutions.
As a result, the organizers presented certificates of merit from General Director of VSI and prizes to 6 collectives and 19 contestants who had outstanding performance in the contest. Accordingly, Dong Nai won three prizes, including 2 for individuals and 1 for collective.
At the ceremony in Dong Nai, on behalf of VSI, Vice Director of Dong Nai Social Insurance awarded the first prize to Mr. Nguyen Hoang QUoc, a resident in Thong Nhat district’s Xuan Thanh commune, for his initiative “Encoding electronic data of certificates in social insurance benefit to make electronic transactions in solving pregnancy regulations” and the second prize to Mr. Nguyen Van Chuong, Deputy Head of Dong Nai Social Insurance’s Office for his entry “Information technology application solution in procedures of electronic transactions”.
According to VSI General Director Nguyen Thi Minh, the contest aims toselect initiatives to reform administrative procedure; shorten time and reduce fees for individuals and organisations in making social, unemployment and health insurance transactions.
