(ĐN)- On Sept 29, Vice Chairman Vo Van Chanh of Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee worked with related departments and agencies on the implementation of rural clean water projects.
Until September, the province put into operation 15 water supply projects with total capacity of 36,932 cubic meter per day, providing fresh water to more than 245,000 people.
The remaining six projects will be started construction in quarter 4 of 2016.
Besides, Dong Nai plans to invest additional 18 clean water supply projects in rural areas in the coming time.
So far, 99.7 percent of the province’s poplulation gained access to hygienic water, of which 57.7 percent used clean water meeting the Health Ministry’s standards.
