(ĐN) – Dinh Quan district’s Red Cross Chapter on August 4 held its sixth congress to review activities during the 2010-2016 tenure and map out orientations and tasks for the 2016-2021 term.
Over the past five years, the Chapter spent more than VND76 billion for humanitarian activities, exceeding 156 percent of the plan. Accordingly, the campaigns entitled “Tet for the Poor and AO/dioxin victims”, “Cow Bank”, “Each organization, each individual associated with one humanitarian address” have been implemented effectively.
In the next term, it will continue efforts to help the poor and strive to mobilized 8,000 blood units.
On this occasion, the chapter honored collectives and individuals for their contributions to the movement.
