(ĐN)- According to Dong Nai Military Headquarters, over VND11 billion has been raised for the province’s “For Vietnam’s sea and islands” fund over the last 3 years.
The money is contributed by individuals and organizations in Dong Nai and other provinces and cities.
Of the money, nearly VND10 billion have been spent to present cash and gifts to naval officials, soldiers in High Command of Naval Zone 2, High Command of Naval Zone 4, Vietnam Navy, Truong Sa district in Khanh Hoa province and High Command of Coast Guard Zones 1 and 2.
