(ĐN) Over the past two years, Thong Nhat district’s Study Promotion Association raised nearly VND2.2 billion by mobilizing locals to put money in their clay pigs, fulfilling 163 percent of the year’s plan.
All the proceeds from the clay pigs have been used to award scholarships and help 2,840 studious poor students.
In the 2016-2017 school year, the association targets to mobilize VND6.6 billion to help students with difficult circumstances to continue their study.
On this occasion, many collectives and individuals have been honored for their contributions to study promotion movement.
