(ĐN)- The Ministry of Transport has just agreed the Corporation 319’s proposal to invest in the expansion of some narrow, dangerous sections along National Road 1, which runs from Phan Thiet City in Binh Thuan Province to Dong Nai Province.
According to the survey, there are two sections that need to be broadened from 12 meters to 16 meters, along with installing concrete median strip on the section running through the district’s Xuan Hoa commune and the other section which runs through the three communes of Suoi Cat, Xuan Phu and Bao Hoa.
These are narrow and very dangerous sections of the high way, and many traffic accidents were reported at the sections.
According to Branch of BOT 319 Song Phan under the Corporation 319, the project is expected to commence in late 2016.
