(ĐN)- Over the past time, the campaign “Day for the Poor” launched by Dong Nai Fatherland Front Committee has brought happiness to many poor families in Dong Nai and won the support from all walks of life.
Accordingly, the campaign mobilised more than VND308 billion from organizations and individuals inside and outside the province to help the poor.
Besides, the Fund for the Poor at all levels also raised over VND22.4 billion to build and repair 127 charity houses for poor households, give hundreds of scholarships to disadvantaged students, provide seedling and breeding animals to farmers with difficult circumstances.
In the coming time, the association will continue to call on organisations, individuals and people to join hands in helping the poor.
