(ĐN) – On July 2, at new Ghenh bridge inauguration ceremony, Transport Ministry and Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee presented certificates of merit to individuals and teams stood out in new Ghenh bridge construction.

The event was attended by Secretary Nguyen Phu Cuong and Standing Deputy Secretary Tran Van Tu of Dong Nai provincial Party Committee, Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai of People’s Committee, Minister of Transport Truong Quang Nghia, and Chairman Tran Thanh Liem of Binh Duong provincial People’s Committee.
Construction of the new bridge began on April 1 at an estimated cost of more than VND298 billion. The new bridge is three metres higher than the old one, thus it can allow ships with bigger deadweights to pass through.
