Efforts to care for policy families

(ĐN)- On the occasion of the 69th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27), Dong Nai Children House's teachers and kids visited and presented gifts to 84 Vietnamese heroic mothers across the province.

 

(ĐN)- On the occasion of the 69th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27), Dong Nai Children House’s teachers and kids visited and presented gifts to 84 Vietnamese heroic mothers across the province.

The gifts are part of the movement called “Silk Blouse to Grandmother”, launched in 2013 aiming to uphold the Vietnamese tradition of “ Drinking water, remember the source”.

On July 25, Long Thanh district sent a delegation to visit and present gifts worth VND1.3 million to 8 heroic mothers in the locality.

At the same day, Regiment 935 held a get-together for policy beneficiaries and gave gifts valued at VND900,000 each to them.

On this occasion, Thong Nhat district sent delegations to visit and provide 30 gifts to local policy families.

Dong Nai Martyr Families Support Association in cooperation with the provincial Women Union also visited and handed gifts to 20 policy families in Vinh Cuu district.
