(ĐN)- Bien Hoa branch of the Capital Aid Fund for Employment of the Poor (CEP Fund) has recently awarded scholarships totaling VND228 million to 132 studious poor students who are its members’ children.
As known, CEP Fund planed to present 1,945 scholarships worth a total of over VND4.4 billion to needy students in Bien Hoa city in 2016.
Over the past 8 years, the fund gave 2.9 million notebooks and 131,000 pens totaling VND11 billion, awarded more than 8,800 scholarships valued at VND15 billion to students with difficult circumstances nationwide.
On this occasion, the fund also donated nearly VND215 million to build and upgrade 8 houses in the province.
