In 2015, about 29,000 people have registered to donate blood and more than 27,000 units of blood have been collected.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Hoa Hiep of the provincial People’s Committee who is also Head of the Steering Committee for voluntary blood donation thanked families, organizations and individuals for their contributions to voluntary blood donations. She hoped that the honored people would continue to be role models and encourage their relatives, friends and colleagues to join them.
On this occasion, 15 collectives and 23 individuals who have made great contributions to voluntary blood donation received certificates of merit of Vietnam Red Cross Association.
