Accordingly, the province has invested to equip more than 1,100 foreign language teaching and studying equipment; provided 640 software sets for teachers, 106 software sets for labs, 862 cassette players for schools.
Moreover, over 1,500 teachers of English were offered training to improve their professional skills. The rate of teachers trained and improved foreign language skills meeting standards is now at 22 to 32.8 percent. Dong Nai has so far employed 27 Filipino teachers to teach English at local secondary and high schools.
