The rain lasted 15- 50 minutes in Hau Giang, Can Tho, Vinh Long, Tien Giang and Long An provinces that made night time temperatures cooler after long- lasting heat waves in previous months.
Meanwhile, medium rain experienced 20- 30 minutes in many districts of Ho Chi Minh City.
The weather experts reported that because of the influence of southeastern the weather turbulence in East Sea, the rains appeared in the southern and southeastern provinces on the large scale.
According to weather forecast, this year's rainy season will commence later than previous years. The rainfall in May- June is predicted to be 20- 40 percent lower than average level.
