Hanoi aims to reduce 900 poor households this year. Accordingly, the district’s poverty rate will be expected to drop to 4.6 percent from 6.7 percent in 2015.
To achieve these goals, the locality will speed up the implementation of poverty reduction policies by including them in socio-economic development, new-style rural building and infrastructure investment support programmes for remote areas.
