(ĐN)- A seminar themed “Consumer rights to safety” was held in Dong Nai on March 15 to respond to the Vietnamese Consumer Rights’ Day on March 15.
Some 100 representatives from departments, agencies, enterprises and consumers across the province attended the event.
In the coming time, Dong Nai Standards and Consumers Protection Association will cooperate with Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, and Dong Nai Animal Breeding Association to develop reliable safe food supply chains at five markets in Bien Hoa city, Thong Nhat and Trang Bom districts.
Notably, communication activities will be carried out to raise companies' awareness of protecting consumers’ rights.
It will contribute to creating a healthy consumption environment and encouraging participation of people from all walks of life in protecting the interests of consumers.
