(ĐN)- Over the past five years, Xuan Loc district-based Xuan Tam commune Women’s Union has lifted all poor women households out of poverty.
To achieve this result, the union has made efforts to support women under difficult circumstances, develop women’s movements and raise the quality of activities of women’s associations at all levels.
Particularly, the union offered preferential loans totaling someVND6.5 billion to around 400 poor women households.
Besides, the union also mobilized capital, seedlings and breeding animals from its members to help poor members develop production and escape poverty.
