(ĐN)- Dong Nai provincial Red Cross Association in cooperation with Cho Ray Regional Blood Transfusion and Haematology Centre launched a blood donation day at An Vieng rubber farm in Long Thanh district on February 17.
The event aims to respond to the 2016 Red Spring Festival launched by Vietnam Red Cross Association. It attracted the participation of 230 officials and employees. Accordingly, the volunteers donated 150 units of blood.
Since the beginning of the year, the provincial Red Cross Association and its agencies organized 13 humanitarian blood donation programs and collected nearly 2,000 blood units. The association targets to receive 30,000 blood units until the end of this year.
