Tet gifts presented to offshore soldiers

(ĐN)- Two naval ships HQ 621 and HQ 624 carrying New Year gifts to present to officers and soldiers stationed at offshore marine defence platforms arrived at territorial waters of Phuc Tan, Phuc Nguyen and DK1/14 platforms.

 

(ĐN)- Two naval ships HQ 621 and HQ 624 carrying New Year gifts to present to officers and soldiers stationed at offshore marine defence platforms arrived at territorial waters of Phuc Tan, Phuc Nguyen and DK1/14 platforms.

The HQ 621 vessel led by Colonel Le Dinh Viet, Deputy Head of Party Inspection of the Naval Region 2 Command presented gifts to DK1/16, DK1/17, DK1/18, DK1/19 platforms. Meanwhile, the HQ 609 naval ship led by Colonel To Van Thu, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Naval Region 2 Command unloaded cargo for handing over soldiers at Phuc Nguyen (DK1/6) and DK1/14 platforms.

As of January 17, the ships have brought Tet gifts to 6 out of 15 DK1 platforms. Currently, they are en route to carry New Year gifts to present to officers and soldiers stationed at platforms of Que Duong, Ba Ke, Huyen Tran, DK1/10, Tu Chinh and Con Dao island.

Departing on January 15 at Naval Region 2, the two ships have been carrying 400 tons of daily necessities and specialties nationwide donated by individuals, agencies and organisations from across the country to help the officers and soldiers enjoy a Vietnamese traditional Tet.
