(ĐN)- Dong Nai Labor Union has launched a fundraising campaign for the construction of the monument for fallen Truong Sa combatants, following the letter Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL)’s letter to call on donations for the construction of the monument.
Dong Nai Labor Union call on every laborer to donate VND20,000, or send a text message saying “HS” to the number 1407 as a contribution to the building of the park.
Donations should be sent to Dong Nai Fatherland Front Committee’s bank account number: 02010000492144 at Dong Nai Branch of Vietinbank, or Social Charity Fund’s bank account number: 102010000013374 at Ha Noi Branch of Vietinbank.
The monument for the fallen combatants who perished in a 1988 battle against Chinese invaders on Vietnam's Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelago is aimed at commemorating the sons of the fatherland who sacrificed their lives in the East Vietnam Sea for the protection of the country’s sovereignty.
