(ĐN) - A conference was held in Dong Nai on December 22 to review the implementation of a project to rehabilitate people affected by Agent Orange (AO)/dioxin in the 2014-2016 period.
The project aims to improve the quality of the victims’ life by helping them integrate into the community with rehabilitation techniques, aid facilities and knowledge on the field.
After three years implementation, the project has provided functional rehabilitation to more than 1,100 people with disabilities and victims of toxic chemicals. Besides, nearly 400 people got the help at home. Many of them saw improvements in their health and were able to normalize their lives.
