(ĐN)- Vietnam Social Insurance Agency has recently honored Dong Nai Social Insurance Department for its outstanding performance in developing insurance users and reducing social insurance debt.
Accordingly, the province only had 1.7 medical insurance users in early 2015, accounting of 61% of the province’s population. By November this year, the total number of medical insurance users has reached more than 1.9 million, nearly 6 per cent higher than the end last year. Meanwhile, social insurance debt amount also reduced obviously.
Director of Dong Nai Social Insurance Department Pham Van Men said that the department will this month boost the development of social insurance users, especially for students, households, and provide financial support for ethnic minority people to join social insurance with the aim to meet the target set by the Government of 70 % of the population taking part in social insurance.
