In addition, the province has admitted additional 75,373 trade union members, bringing the total members at private and foreign-invested enterprises to 591,688 out of 649,315 employees.
Many grassroots trade unions have enhanced their role in protecting rights and benefits for local workers as well as taking care of spiritual and material lives for their members on the occasion of holidays, Tet, etc.
