(ĐN)- Dong Nai Power Company (DNPC) organized a customer conference on December 22.
In 2015, the company invested over VND989 billion to upgrade the electricity grid and enhance the capacity of electricity supply to meet the demands for local socio-economic and industrial development.
So far, more than 600,000 households in Dong Nai province, or 99.86 percent, have accessed the national power grid, according to the DNPC.
The figures included some 420,000 households in rural areas, or 99.45 percent of the total rural households.
The DNPC is estimated to supply 9.8 billion kWh of electricity and earn a turnover of more than VND16 trillion this year. It also improved its business and production efficiency to reduce electricity loss to 3 percent in 2015.
Speaking at the conference, Director Nguyen Ngoc Thanh said that DNPC would strive to ensure the power supply for production and daily life in 2016.
