The college is now home to more than 4,600 students, and 196 lecturers and staff. Last school year, LILAMA 2 had promoted the training for laborers in the majors of welding, electricity, machinery, etc. to supply to big companies in Dong Nai and other provinces; provided international vocational training course and granted certificates from City & Guilds, the UK’s largest vocational awarding body to 120 vocational teachers across the province.
In addition, the college has also invested to buy teaching equipment, upgraded its facilities as well as boosted cooperation to train labor force for local enterprises, promoted international cooperation and improve professional skills for its lecturers and students.
According to Director of the provincial Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (DoLISA) Nguyen Van Thuoc, Dong Nai will continue to sign training orders with the college in international-standardized professional training courses for vocational teachers in the province in 2016.
