There are currently 12 temporary waste dump sites, locating in Trang Bom, Thong Nhat, Vinh Cuu and Nhon Trach districts. The waste treatment companies are collecting and treating the waste by pressing and packing it before transferring it to planned waste treatment sites.
As scheduled, Dong Nai will close down the temporary waste dump sites and hand over land for the district by December this year.
Speaking at the working session, Vice Chairman Vo Van Chanh instructed waste treatment companies to speed up their waste clearance at the dump sites and hand over the clean land for the districts.
