150 studious poor students get scholarships

(ĐN)- Sojitz Vietnam, an agency of Japan's Sojitz Corporation, on September 1 organized a ceremony to award 150 scholarships worth US$200 each to studious poor students in Long Thanh, Vinh Cuu districts and Bien Hoa city.

(ĐN)- Sojitz Vietnam, an agency of Japan’s Sojitz Corporation, on September 1 organized a ceremony to award 150 scholarships worth US$200 each to studious poor students in Long Thanh, Vinh Cuu districts and Bien Hoa city.

The scholarships are funded by Sojitz Corp’s partners including Japan Vietnam Fertilizer Company, Long Binh Techno Park Development Company and Long Duc Investment Co., Ltd.

Since 2012 until now, the corp presented 503 scholarships totaling more than VND2 billion for disadvantaged students across the province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Director Vo Ngoc Thach of Dong Nai Department of Education and Training thanked the Corp for its contributions and hoped that Dong Nai would continue to receive donations from the Corp to help needy students.
