(ĐN)- On August 16, around 350 youth members cleaned up public places in Phu Dong commune as part of the Green Sunday campaign, organized by Nhon Trach district’s Youth Union.
On this occasion, the union presented 100 light bulbs, 10 gifts worth VND300,000 each to households with difficult circumstances in Phu Dong commune, gave 700 notebooks to disadvantaged students who are studying at Phu Dong primary and junior high school.
Green Sunday is an annual meaningful activity, seeks to not only clean up the environment but also raise people’s awareness of environmental protection.
