Among them, 50 received bicycles while 40 others were awarded with scholarships valued at VND500,000 each.
“Real Life Journey” is co-launched by the National Fund for Vietnamese Children and AIA Vietnam Life Insurance Co., Ltd in an effort to raise fund and call on more support from society for disadvantaged children.
So far, the programme has gone throughout 35 cities and provinces across the country to deliver 1,370 bicycles to underprivileged students.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Doan Mau Diep highly appreciated supports from AIA and sponsors for Vietnamese children and expected that the “Real Life Journey” events will help raise a strong sense of communal responsibility for childcare and protection.
