(ĐN)- Dong Nai provincial Red Cross Association on July 17 held a conference to honor typical units and individuals, who achieve outstanding results in patriotic emulation movements in the period of 2010-2015, with the attendance of 121 delegates.
In the last five years, the association and its branches spent over VND406 billion for relief, healthcare and humanitarian activities. It also organized blood donation campaigns and collected nearly 128,000 units of blood, helping save many patients.
Speaking at the conference, representative from Vietnam Red Cross Association suggested the provincial association to continue its further efforts to develop more and more typical units and individuals as well as better deploy its targeted tasks.
