In recent years, the province's Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs' Inspectorate has conducted many inspections and fined companies that failed to pay social insurance premiums for their workers. However, many of those companies have still not paid social insurance premiums.
Dong Nai has hundreds of companies that owe VND560 billion (US$26.6 million) of social insurance premiums, according to the province's Social Insurance Agency.
