The program supplies free milk to the children. Each child will drink four 180-ml cartons of milk four times a week. The project are being deployed at pre-school pupils in all parts of the province and pupils of the first grade in primary schools in in Xuan Loc, Cam My, Dinh Quan, Tan Phu and Vinh Cuu districts.
The program costs more than VND1,300 billion, of which VND653 billion comes from the state budget, nearly VND196 billion from the milk supplier and the remaining from children’s parents.
The milk project aims to increase nutrition for children, thus improving children’s weight, height and preventing malnutrition, contributing to increasing the quality of human resources serving industrialization and modernization in the province in the future.
