Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai and Vice Chairman Nguyen Thanh Tri of the provincial People’s Committee received the delegation.
At the working session, Minister-Chairman Giang Seo Phu highly appreciated efforts made by Dong Nai in carrying out policies to support ethnic minorities. Particularly, the province focused on providing vocational training and creating jobs for ethnic people, supporting tuition fees for ethnic students, preserving and promoting traditional cultural values of ethnic minority groups in the locality, contributing to improving their physical and mental condition.
He also required the local authority to focus on raising the intellectual standards of ethnic minority people, training and employing staff from ethnic groups, continue enhancing solidarity, effectively implement hunger eradication and poverty reduction programmes and increase people’s awareness, thus contributing to national industrialisation and modernisation.
