At Duc Long 3 hamlet, whirlwind broke electricity poles and lines, making a power cut on large scale.
Local authorities have immediately sent forces to the spots to help affected residents deal with aftermaths and soon stabilise their lives.
At the same day, a heavy rain, accompanied by whirlwinds, has destroyed and blew off the roofs of 31 houses in Dinh Quan district. The four hardest hit communes were Suoi Nho, Phu Cuong, Phu Tuc and Tuc Trung.
The whirlwinds have also damaged 30 hectares of mango trees and other crop plants in Suoi Nho.
The district People’s Committee has provided VND3-4 million each to 15 households with home heavily damaged and directed forces to assist residents to quickly overcome difficulties and resume their normal life.
