(ĐN)- A power saving programme has been launched in Dong Nai to raise public awareness about the importance of saving electricity.
The programme aims to encourage households, enterprises and agencies to use energy economically and efficiently
In 2014, Dong Nai saved more than 253 million kWh of electricity. Of that amount, State agencies and offices saved 11.8 million kWh; the public lighting sector, 17 million kWh; the industrial sector, 173.5 million kWh; and the household, 51 million kWh.
On this occasion, 61 collectives and 75 individuals have been honored for their achievements in power saving activities.
