Construction of Phuoc Khanh bridge to start in June

(ĐN)- According to the Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC), J3 construction package of Phuoc Khanh suspension bridge on the Ben Luc-Long Thanh expressway will start in June 2015.

 

(ĐN)- According to the Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC), J3 construction package of Phuoc Khanh suspension bridge on the Ben Luc-Long Thanh expressway will start in June 2015.

The bridge, which crosses the Long Tau River and connects Can Gio district in HCMC and Dong Nai province’s Nhon Trach district, will have the total length of 3.18 km.

J3 is one of the 10 major construction packages of the Ben Luc-Long Thanh expressway’s project. Presently, the site clearance is completed to pave the way for the construction of the Phuoc Khanh suspension bridge project.

The Ben Luc-Long Thanh expressway project has total length of 57.8 kilometres, running through Long An province, HCM City and Dong Nai province.

The expressway will be built under expressway standard-Level A with designed speed of 120 km/h.

The Ben Luc-Long Thanh expressway has eight lanes in the designing map. However, in the first phase, it will be built with four lanes at the total investment capital of $1.61 billion.
