Accordingly, the Fund for the Poor at all levels have raised more than VND274 billion in 2014. With the assistance of the entire community, some 312 houses were repaired and built for the poor.
In the coming time, the association will continue to call on organisations, individuals and people nationwide to join hands in helping the poor.
The money collected will be used to build houses for the poor, help them in production and medical treatment, and cover scholarships for poor students with outstanding academic performances.
