(ĐN)- At the meeting on February 24, Secretary Tran Dinh Thanh of the provincial Party Committee applauded the joint efforts to ensure a happy and safe Tet for all people.
Accordingly, positive signs were seen as a result of stabilized market prices and ensured travel, public healthcare, security.
He also lauded departments and localities for preventing smuggled and fake goods, ensuring defence and security as well as social safety and order during Tet.
Many interdisciplinary inspection teams were established to check food quality and hygiene at 1,419 businesses, food production and processing establishments to ensure food safety across the province over the festive season.
The province held 89 market-days to bring price-stabilized goods to rural customers on the Lunar New Year holiday.
Besides, a flurry of activities has been being organized across the province to help local ethnic minorities, disadvantaged people and policy beneficiaries have a sufficient Lunar New Year Festival (Tet).
