(ĐN)- In 2014, Dong Nai Red Cross Association and its agencies raised VND108.8 billion to carry out humanitarian, social and health care activities, fulfilling 115% of the yearly plan. Particularly, the association spent VND77.7 billion for relief and humanitarian efforts, VND31 billion for medical caring.
In this period, the association also launched humanitarian blood donation programs and received 26,500 units of blood from local volunteers. The activity is expected to contribute to rescuing many people from death.
In 2015, the association will continue to step up its activities to help more disadvantaged people to overcome difficulties and stable their life.
