The festival attracted about 10,000 workers and their relatives, enjoying art performances performed by Taekwang Vina’s employees.
Also at the event, Taekwang Vina handed over two houses, funded by its employees, for workers with difficult circumstances, and presented 30 Tet gifts worth each VND1 million to poor workers.
According to Chairman Dinh Sy Phuc of Taekwang Vina’s trade union, each worker in the company has earned a monthly average salary of VND6 million since January 1, 2015. The company also planned to spend around VND190 billion to pay Tet bonuses for their employees and buy bus tickets for them to return home for the holidays.
