(ĐN)- Dong Nai plans to increase the number of bus trips to 1,650 per day from the current 1,500 to meet increased traveling demand during Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday.
In addition, the transport sector will reserve additional buses per day on bus routes going through main roads to ease traffic congestion during the holiday.
In order to ensure travel safety during Tet holidays, the provincial authorities asked related agencies to strengthen inspections of passenger carrying vehicles to prevent illegal increases of ticket fares.
