(ĐN)- A mass mobilization campaign on new rural area construction has just been held to help people in Long Khanh town’s Bao Quang commune.
The campaign was carried out by the town’s Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Department, the provincial Military Headquarters, Police Department, Fire Fighting and Prevention Police, Military Zone 7’s brigade 25, and military units stationed in Dong Nai.
Accordingly, more than 300 officials, soldiers and local people repaired and upgraded nearly 5km of rural roads; cleared and cleaned 4km of road; provided free medical check-ups and medicine to 300 policy beneficiaries, poor people, elderly people, and ethnic minority people; presented 20 bicycles to studious poor students; built a gratitude house; etc.
The total cost of the program was over VND500 million, funded by departments and organizations in the province.
