(ĐN)- A requiem for the souls of traffic accidents was held at Tinh Hoi pagoda in Bien Hoa city on November 24.
The event, jointly organized by Dong Nai Traffic Safety Committee and the provincial Buddhist Sangha, is part of activities in response to World Day of Remembrance for Victims of Road Traffic Accidents, which falls on the third Sunday of November.
From 2010 until now, road accidents kill around 2,020 people and injury over 4,200 others in the province, 1.1 death and 2.4 injuries per day on average.
