(ĐN)- In 2014, the movement "All people unite to build cultural lifestyle" and the campaign “Day for the Poor” has raised approximately VND275 billion to help the poor, said Vice Chairwoman Bui Thi Lieu of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee.
Particularly, the province provided preferential loans to help difficult families develop household economy, award scholarships to disadvantaged students and provide free healthcare and treatment to poor patients.
The province not only mobilise social support for the needy but also encourage the poor to make their own efforts to escape from poverty sustainably.

According to Vice Chairman Nguyen Van Dung of the Front, over the past time, the movement "All people unite to build cultural lifestyle" has drawn a great deal of attention from local people. So far, 97.38 percent of all households have received the ‘Cultural Family’ title.
The campaign “Day for the Poor” has also brought happiness to many poor families and won the support from all walks of life.
Moreover, patriotic emulation movements and campaigns launched by the Front and its member organizations went into life and were actively taken part in by people from various strata.
Accordingly, the fronts at all levels mobilized their members and people to participate in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, guide people in bringing into play the mastery, proactively and actively engaging in building clean and strong Party and government.
