Earlier, an investigation team has been established to identify the number of displaced locals and survey the local’s need for jobs to serve site clearance, compensation and resettlement. Members of the team are leaders of relevant departments and agencies.
According to the report, 4,541 households with 14,462 people will have to relocate to serve the development of the airport project. The cost of site clearance and compensation was estimated at more than VND13 trillion.
