(ĐN)- More than 200 soldiers and policemen gathered to start their public relations tasks in Phuoc Khanh commune on July 20.
The participants upgraded rural traffic roads, visited and presented gifts to families of martyrs and war invalids, built a “great unity” house to local people and handed over 6 bicycles to studious poor students.
On this occasion, Dong Nai Police's Entrepreneurs Fund for Public Security handed preferential loans worth VND20 million each to 5 people who are released prisoners living in the commune.
Earlier, Xuan Loc district’s authorities held a ceremony to deploy public relations tasks. At the ceremony, the district handed over 13 charity and gratitude houses and upgraded 29 others, gave 10 bicycles, 20 scholarships and 26 saving books to local students with difficult circumstances.
The district also provided free medical check-ups and medicines to 400 people and offered preferential loans to poor households.
